I'm convinced you will get the money for an M9. I've seen someone make a website asking for donations for a new PC, promising he'd blow up his old one on tape if he got the money. It took him about three months to gather about $5,000. Somewhere in this world, a stinking rich man will look at your website, have a laugh, and click the donate button. Let us know when you get your M9.

While I think this is a great idea, I find it sad that this stinking rich man have nothing to do better with his spare money than fund someone's M9.

Thanks everyone. Regarding this imaginary rich dude, I completely agree. He should rather spend his money doing something good for mankind, find a cure for cancer, or something. No arguing there. That being said - maybe he could afford to do both, and get a cheaper helicopter instead?

Nah. That would put a few people out of work at the helicopter factory. One of those guys wouldn't be able to afford his kid's college tuition while the other would fall behind on his mortgage and lose his house. It's all connected...
