Testing Ilford Pan 400 at ISO 800. Quite acceptable...

The local Leica dealer has the demo model in of the new M (240) model. I took a card along and tested taking my M2 fitted with 35mm f2 IV Summicron TomA Softie (Rff) and M2 Rapidwinder.
Shot with the 240 using my 50mm Zeiss C Sonnar at f2 (it is coded as f1.4 50mm) straight jpeg.
The B/W of the 240 from the M2 will follow.
Note this numbered 2 exposure on the 240 camera and I also took number 1

A bit of a "nature walk" - I like Nature organized, preferably with small signs telling what it is that is growing etc.
This is the duck pond in Jericho Park here in Vancouver" The duck claims that there is an editorial misprint on the sign next to i. The "Do Not Feed The Ducks" should read "Do Feed THe Ducks"

erm, yes. 'Under-editing' might be the issue I think.Um, is there such a thing as 'over-posting'?
^ Nice one, Tom!

Nah. We all love the C Sonnar, some of us a bit more than others.
I am just enjoying the pictures. This lens is obviously wonderful and it is very refreshing to be able to spend time on a thread with more images than words.

Cropped the second shot quite a bit due to the excess perimeters that were distracting and realized that the focus was more than 'off'. But I like it for the energy it brings.

This thread alone is a gallery of wonderful photography in and of itself.
And now I am wondering if I am missing out on something not owning this lens!

Here is one photo taken with C-Sonnar 50/1.5. On the same roll is very similar picture taken with Jupiter-8 taken just minute away from this one and surprisingly I had very hard time to remember which one is which as I could not spot the difference in the photographs
They really have similar signature although in other light situations the C-Sonnar has been more distinctive (crisp?) compared to the J-8.
