I miss my T4, looking for a new compact

I paid 20€ for mine incl shipping (which is about 7€) but it's hard to find anything that cheap on Marktplaats.. and we don't have that many thriftstores that carry those kind of camera's... only the real old defective used in war cameras.
 
Is it easy to miss your focus on the XA2 or (when using iso 400) can the camera handle its zone focus that well that most of the shots are in focus?
 
Many excellent suggestions in here - I think what you can keep from all these is that you don't need to pay top money to replace your old T4. Actually I had two and I sold them both. With the money from the first one I bought a Minolta 9xi w/ 50f/1.7 - with the money from they other I will buy film supplies for a year.
My personal favourite is the Fuji DL SuperMini but unfortunately is not very easy to come across.

A fantastic camera for it's money is the Nikon L35AF - all pictures came out wonderfully sharp and well exposed. Highly recommended if you don't mind the size. Another to consider is the Mju-1 and mju-2 as it's already been suggested.
 
I've been going through images of the XA2 and most of them have vignetting. I don't like vignetting that much.. is it inevitable to get vignetting or can you make sure to not get it?

Use faster film than ISO100, that's what I see from my XA2 pictures.

Part of the vignetting is caused because of the way leaf shutters work. They expose first the centre and then the edge (since they open from centre to edge). In some cameras the combination of a lens (that might be prone to vignetting) and an ageing shutter that tends to stick a bit can exaggerate the problem. I had two Ricoh 500G's, one was vignetting more than the other but obviously it wasn't the lens.

Edit: Actually one of the reasons for selling my XA2 was because of the horrible vignetting. But i think it was the shutter and not the lens.

I just received the XA2 along with the Espio AF Zoom Full macro.
The XA2 has a green light burning in the viewfinder, but the batterycheck is silent and I can't seem to place a film in the camera and forwardwind it. Also the shutter is not responding. I'm guessing new battery is needed, right? But than why is this green light still burning?

The Espio works fine, the flash works etc. I have placed an expired Ilford XP2 400 in it so we'll see what happens.

I must say that I really like the viewfinder of the XA2, large and clear! But the Espio is really really small and blurry.
