Great suggestions so far.
Read a few books, look at as many photos as possible (sometimes you learn about good
composition by looking at badly composed images), study the masters to make sure you haven't
corrupted your photographic spirit by all the bad photos you had seen before 🙂
and most of all, follow your instinct.
