I want a real chrome M8. I know what I want to pay, but can I find it?

Well, I really want a backup for my M8 (My M9 plan is on hold for the moment due to finances) and a chrome M8 would be my choice. I would rather pay $2k or a little over (mint condition) than what I see at the moment because I feel that is what it is worth (I can get a Canon 5D used for 1K, which would be good, but I do not want to buy a second set of lenses).

So what are the options? I feel Pop Flash may be the ticket if something comes up. I am a little nervous buying from Ebay, and quite frankly, would rather buy from a member of this forum if possible.

So what are my options?

Stan Tamarkin at Tamarkin camera. He may have one with a one-year warranty, which you will definitely want. I got a demo from him, chrome M8, and got the sensor replaced under warranty. I believe I paid around $2400, though.
