Just some guy, you know?
Some nice images here - I particularly like the results form dazedgonebye's I26m. Probably shouldn't have gotten rid of mine, either. And now that we're on the subject, I've been trying to "see" in 50mm for years. Don't even get me started on 35mm...
Anyway, here's a J-8 image:
...and a J-3 image:
These were both shot with a Canon P. Speaking of Canon, Dave Murphy has the Canon 50/1.8 (a Planar-formula lens, IIRC) for sale here. Pretty reasonable. I never really gave mine heavy use, but I had discovered the Summitar, see, and...

A few months ago I received an Industar 61 l/d from an Ebay seller in the Ukraine....you know the story,- checked out by 'professional repair man'!, well,-the first roll was dissapointing, to say the least!, and I put it to one side. last week I stripped it, and found the focusing hellicoid had been assembled in the wrong position!!
...now sorted and lubed, this is one VERY NICE lens!!
....here's a couple of mundane shots from the test I did this morning, - allbeit silly-small file sizes!
