I took this picture a few months ago and when i took it i thought it was funny, but now I don't think its funny... so, I'm not proud of this picture.

Post pictures which you no longer feel proud or you no longer like.

The sign and the 'subject' remind me of the saying "Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one." The shot works for me. It's clever.

Do you mean to suggest that you're now ashamed of the shot?

No, I'm not ashamed of it because the people involved remain anonymous, its just that it looks too gimmicky and overtly trying to be funny.

its also badly exposed.

I'd be interested to know why you've changed your opinion, I have an idea, but I'm no mind reader.

I think it is an hilarious shot.

Yes, a bit over-exposed ... but the eyes are attracted anyway by the "bottom" right of the image :)

TBH I think it's a little exploitative of the person bending over in the foreground. A "cheap shot" so to speak, a bit like the pix many people take/post of the homeless/drunk/disadvantaged etc. Maybe I'm just a softy.

I'll trawl through my stuff later and put up one of mine that I now loathe.

I'm not judging you in any way when I say this...
This is a shot I very much turn away from...If while getting ready to shoot someone (male or female) they bend over, or place themselves in a non-flattering position (low-cut top so when she bends over I can see her belly-button) I will pull the camera back, pointing the lens up so there no doubt I'm not shooting...
After saying all that, I did photograph a man sleeping (passed out) on the sidewalk and a woman (covered completely with a blanket) sleeping on a bus bench in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon...

I'd love to see all those photos as a sequence, on subsequent shots a big smelly bum comes along and gives the person a big KABOOT with a filthy shoe.

That would teach them to "open their mind with truth".....a big kick in the CABOOSE. Send 'em toppling! HA HA HA!

Dead End

I think it's wonderful! If I had shot it I'd be patting myself on my *ss all week. Actually, I would asked your subject to move a little to the left. Cartier-Bresson ain't got nuthin' on you!

Works for me....Good shot. Did you arrange it? So where´s the problem?

No, I was standing taking pictures of the demonstration and i noticed the sign and then the lady bend over to grab something and i took the picture.

M. Valdemar:

I had to look closer because i thought "he can't be naked"...

Why not ?

Why not ?

Your photo works for me. I wouldn't be proud of it and I wouldn't be ashamed, it's a snap with a funny "element". I only would correct the levels / contrast a little bit, the white looks washed out (at my monitor).

Question to M. Valdemar, this picture of racial harmony is a beauty, I know I've seen it before, did you take it yourself?
