I read somewhere in this forum that photography is banned in Tsunami hit areas because of disaster tourists. How did you manage to take these photos?
Nate, amazing images. Every single one of them. I couldn't help notice the irony of this one. The characters above the entrance read "Minami Sanriku (the "cho" meaning village is missing) Natural Environment Utilization Center" 😱

There was a couple off small trembllers last night here in Yokohama and again this morning.
Wow, powerful images. In the abstract, it is hard to imagine such damage and with the images, it is hard to imagine the process needed to get back to some sense or normalcy.
