So I popped into the store at the International Center of Photography in NYC today. I say popped but I had to wait in line to check my rucksack in almost as long as I was actually in the store. I had a rummage through the button badges on the counter and came upon one that read 'I shoot a Leica'. This in itself was not surprising because there were other ones with different brands. What was surprising was that the picture was of a Zorki 4. I asked the chap behind the counter if this was meant to be ironic (look I'm an Englishman in NY, we're big on irony) but he didn't think so.
I realise that this makes me look really 'sad' but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Thanks for sharing! A funny anecdote and made me laugh/snort.

Perhaps they shoot photos of a leica with a Zorki.

Pfft. Irony is so 2012. Obviously the clerk is hip to meta-irony.

You could be right. It's postmodernism and not irony.
