I'm wondering if the Industar 69 is a viable lens for purchase/ use?
Many thanks,
Bill
Many thanks,

It is made for a half-frame camera. It must be modified to use on a Leica, and then is scale focus only.

Is it worth the trouble?

No. Look for a Canon 28 or a Kobalux 28 instead. Both are reasonably priced and exquisite user lenses.
No. I sold the one I modified to an M8 user, never bothered to mod another one.Is it worth the trouble?

FSU Former Soviet Union RF
This forum is for the Former Soviet Union rangefinder cameras, especially the many and various Fed, Zorki, and Kiev.

Canon 28 are bit older might be difficult to find non trashed one.
Kobalux was the lens I sold quick. Very boring rendering.
Since you asked about FLU, it is Orion 15.

As others have said, it's not really worth it to buy one to modify to LTM standard.
I modified one, with a little help from Brian, to use on an Epson R-D1, just to see if I could do it.
I only used it for a short time....a month maybe.
If you buy it with the Chaika attached to it and then use it that way, I suppose you'll get your money's worth out of it.
