Just got the C-Biogon 35mm f2.8

I am getting mine on monday. Can't wait to shoot with it. And I don't need a fast lens. My 50mm is "only" a f2. So I don't think I have problems with f2.8.

Zeiss C Biogon 35mm f2.8 - focus on the closest fingers of the hand.
Leica M2, Kodak Double X, Harvey 777 developer for 9.5 min

Love it on the M8. F2.8 is perfect for human subjects in close imo (f4 maybe even better).
I have never found this lens too slow although, I also never took it out in the evening :)

It shines brightest in Color images imo. These all are M8.

For a group of miscellaneous photos using this lens, try the RFF Gallery...

Go to the RFF Gallery... Drop down the Gallery Search menu and choose Advanced Search. In the window that appears, choose the 5th popup menu labeled “Select Lens Used” and pick from that menu the very last choice “ZM C-Biogon f2.8 35mm”. This will present you with about 120 photos using that lens.

Living on M9

Living on M9

It has been living on the M9 since reaching Scotland. Maybe it will bring out the colors from the overcast, leaden skies.
