Mine is on the way. Should have it soon. Just in time for a camping trip this weekend.
Recently bought the 50 f1.5 c-sonnar. Nice little lens. May take a bit of getting used to at 1.4, with the focus shift. Excellent colour, contrast etc. I actually prefer the look of the zeiss lense over the leica summilux.
I'm looking forward to using the 35 as that is my preferred focal length.

What I LOVE about Zeiss glass is its 'Cinematic' quality in its rendering
And the way it's 'Catches' movement...a 3d pop with a Lovely 'Glow'

Helen: it is appearing that your raving about a lens usually means it is going to be in the classifieds soon. I remember you going on about your Zeiss Planar, then selling it. Now you are saying your 35mm Biogon is "here to stay" and it shows up in the classifieds.
Have you been hanging around Joe?

I keep hearing how flare resistant this lens is. So no hood is required? I am very tempted by this lens for price point, image quality and compactness.

I decided to buy the C Biogon 2.8/35 second hand for my R3A and don't regret it.

I was undecided on the right 35mm for my M2. I started with the CV 35/2.5, but we didn't gel. Oh man am I happy I changed my mind. I love the Biogon-C.
