M4 + Biogon --> 1 wide, 1 tight; 1 closed partway down, 1 wide open

Digitally, it spends a lot of time on one of my GXR bodies as a 50, but none of those pix is handy. However, here's one on the CL (from a series titled Tinkture):

I was very pleased with how the sunflowers kept their detail this close to wide open, while the farmer, her transaction and the background recede as they should. This lens is a keeper and a steady user for me.

So, after reading all through this thread, it was this photo that set off a full-on GAS attack for the C Biogon. Now I just have to wait for Christmas and one way or another, it will be MINE!
Thanks, Helen!

After looking through this tread and others on the Biogon lenses I started to convince myself I had to get one. I was looking for minimal barrel distortion so it was between the Biogon-C and the Biogon f2. The C won on account of it's compact size and that I rarely shoot at wider apertures. The lens has more contrast than what I'm used to so I'll have to get to grips with this with exposure/development routine.
Some pictures from my trip this new years day. Lines, shapes and form is why I got this lens.

I am using the Biogon C 2.8/35mm since a few weeks, as the only lens on the M8.2. They go together perfectly and make a nice, compact package delivering excellent IQ. This will very likely be my main digital setup for some time to come and I will also try to take it to the mountains a lot this year.
