Rangefinder equipped or not. It's all good to me.

To start off, the only two photographs I was able to salvage from my first foray with my 1953 Pacemaker Speed Graphic. Warts and all. The location is St. Marys Catholic Church, Plantersville, Texas. Lens: Kodak Ektar 127mm f/4.7. Film: Ilford HP5+ @ 400. Development: Jobo Expert 3010 tank, hand rolled; D-76 1:1; 10 minutes @ 75F I think.

Next up are two views of a railroad trestle between Brookshire & Sealy, Texas. Full view: Tominon 105mm f/4.5 lens from a Polaroid M4-P copy camera. Film: Ilford HP5+ @ 400. Development: Jobo 3010 on Uniroller; D-76 1:1; 10 minutes @ 68 F.

Scans courtesy of RFF member wclavey and his Epson 4990. Thanks Westley!

Last but not Least

A detail of the bridge. The lens is a 100 year old Voigtlander & Sohn Collinear II 7 7/8" f/5.4. Same film and processing as above.

Wayne, I've got to get out the 4x5 Graflex and do something. It's just been too cold up here to set up for a shot out doors. I'll catch up in April. Keep posting tho. I'm enjoying it.

Nice photos Wayne.
Does the Tominon 105mm f/4.5 lens have a shutter?

I'm sorry. Yes, it screws into the front of a Copal Press shutter. Self cocking, speeds from 1 to 1/125 plus T or B, don't remember. The front of the shutter says "Polaroid MP-4". They appear on ebay all the time. There are several focal lengths. The 105mm covers 4x5 nicely. It's really a macro lens. I'm sure that using it as I am may not produce the best results. However, the price was right.

Thanks everyone. Jan, I hear you. It's even wet, cold, windy & nasty here in the South.

Great images. Have fun with your large "equipment" LOL. LF is addictive. Check out my website at www.ericrose.com almost all the scenic B&W is done with LF. You might want to vacuum out your bellows and holders as you have some dust spots. Actually the whole camera could probably use a vacuum job.

Wonderful images, everyone!

This is just above Adams Falls on the East Inlet trail in Rocky Mtn. National Park, just outside of Grand Lake, CO.

Graphic View II, Kodak Ektar 203mm, Arista.EDU Ultra in Diafine.

Thanks,
Duane

Matt, I really love that vignetted field and the, er, plant...with the expired vericolor. Did you take those with your Calumet?

The image of the field really reminds me of the cinematography in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," with Roger Deakins' photography. Very nice.

4x5! ha! You all work with such small formats. Try some 5x7 on for size ;-)

I need to go shoot more. I will when my mind recovers from a hellish week at work and school...
