Leica 34mm Filters

Will Leica 34mm screw-in filters E34 fit Canon 34mm threads like the 28mm f/3.5 and the 100mm Serenar?

Yes. Except the very early 28/3.5-it didn't have filter threads.

This may be more a question of German vs. Japanese standard thread pitches of a given vintage.
