I just bought a III f BD from a forum member. It will arrive within the next two weeks. I choose the IIIf because of the flash sync. I want to use an electronic flash AND (just for the show) an old Agfa flash for bulbs. I already built a new starter-battery from knob-cells to get 22,5 Volt. Works great!
I was happy to find this old thread, but it does not answer my questions. It seems, one answer is missing.
Could anybody tell me, what delay-times I must use with 1/30 sec, 1/40, 1/60 sec (too short?) and B with an electronic flash and with flash bulbs? So there should be six (or eight with 1/60) different delay times in the worst case.
Again I hope for the knowledge of an expert.
As a counterpart I will show, how I dismantled an old Varta Pertrix 72 battery to fill it with new knob-cells. I will take pics an publish it in a new thread. I think a lot of old flash bulb units are powered by this batteries you can not get anymore. One helps another.
