I don't know if either rents out Leica M digital, but there are two shops in Manchester that I suggest you contact about this.
one is "The Real Camera Company", which has existed for a long time. I've had quite a few dealings with them. "https://realcamera.co.uk"
There was "Stephens Classic Cameras" which used to be a general second-hand camera shop (opposite a Leica shop) but the last time I saw it, was almost all Leica. I've just done a search for that shop and it seems there is now only one Leica shop in Manchester:"https://www.leicastoremanchester.com"
