Hello everybody.....last week a member on this forum sent me a pm and invited me to a Leica event here in Bangkok, it was the launch of the M9, X1, S2 and some other Leica products...I was only able to attend it for a little bit due to a previouus arranged meeting...But I did manage to play around with the new cameras and speak to the head Leica guys in Asia...it was a good time....I brought my m3 and 50mm summilux v1 and I had a roll of xp2...I did not have a light meter with me...I have been trying to shoot without a meter for the last 2 weeks and, well....I tried to guess the light.....anyways, here are some photos...the exposures on some of them are a little "off"...

I met some cool Thai guys who really enjoy Leica cameras and they actually told me about some excellent stores and labs here in Bangkok that I had no idea existed....
cheers, michael

I only had a 50mm and my m3 so I couldn't get as close as I would of liked....working without a meter has been interesting....

the food was wrapped in Leica wrappers and little Leica flags....you can barely make out the Leica circle on the chicken ceasar wrap....(I know I know)

You didn't have a lightmeter but still those are very nice pictures.
I especially like the n. 5 and 6 !
You manage to transpose a nice atmosphere in your shots
Thank you for sharing this 🙂

Thanks Gainsbourg...it was a fun night....these shots are nothing special, but I wanted to share them here.....I will say this....when I first showed up, I was greeted by a bunch of pretty Thai girls wearing Leica shirts.....it was cool...
