When I purchased my first M7, it came with a faulty AE-mechanism. At high speeds, both the left and right side would "black out"

Anyways here are some photos. AS you can see, the sides are a tad underexposed. Received me money back.

DAG said its got something to do with one of the curtains malfunctioning.

As of today, I bought a MP. Scanned my first roll. And here are some photos :

This was shot at one second f2. AS you can see, the left side of the frame is a tad underexposed. I think its because of the fact that the light source's on the right. So no worries..

1/2 f2. Again, left side underexposed. Light source on the right.

MPLeica036.jpg

This is at 1/4. Again, left side under.

This was shot at 1/8

The right side appears to be a tad under. Guess it's because the light came from the right side.

Now, the only thing that worries me is this. Shot at 1/1000 f2 on MP 35 Cron.
With my previous faulty M7, the unevenly exposed photos were shot at speeds >1/500 AE.

1/1000 f2.

The black corners intrigue me. Might they be vignette ?

I THINK its not vignette as these photos taken at 1/60 and 1/125 respectively ( wide open ) show no underexposed corners.

I don't think any of the issues you see in the last four photos have to do with the camera, rather with the film/developing/scan or the lens. What version is your cron? What film, developing, scanner procedures did you use? Also you can't compare the last two photos with those taken outside of the hose, the lighting conditions are too different...
