That's fun to see Robert. I made this on the way home from picking up my X vario at Fed EX. Stopped at a light which just changed. Was hoping to catch the red. My girl friend was driving -safety first indeed! David

Yes, thanks,🙂, it is the old Starr's Mill south of Atlanta. A quick snap from two years ago. The X1 did a marvelous rendering as usual.

Thanks, it is a cool place in the busy Little Five Points area of Atlanta. Their food is awesome, especially the burgers! Wow!

Great thread. @jpressman, I love the colors - the pop of the red hat, the pattern on the coat.

@DwF - that Mount Baker shot is awesome!

As mentioned earlier, I have been using wide angle converters to approximate 25-28mm FOV, but had been getting frustrated by the smudged corners and strange bokeh. Took the converter off and was surprised once again how crisp this 35mm lens is.

The FOV of your X draws my attention to your subject in foreground where the weight of his large frame is on his left leg. It spotlights his patience in waiting for the two inside, where the guy on the right patiently waits for the guy on the left. That in turn moves my attention to the nice texture on the door and building, and back to the guy waiting. 35 seems perfect here.

Sometimes it's fun to use the on-board flash (here outside a brewery) which dials down nicely...wish I used it more.

I have been pretty busy lately so I have nothing too new but plan to get out with X Vario this weekend. Here is one from a few weeks back and with winds and clouds this morning, we are still fighting to feel spring here!
