Yes, the x1 still is an excellent camera. Only problem I have with mine is dust on sensor. Ant to have it cleaned we need to send the camera to Germany and because the camera has to be disassembled it becomes ...expensive !

PS: depending on subject LR or PS can help to remove it!

That is frustrating! Did you ask for an estimate on how much for that?

That is frustrating! Did you ask for an estimate on how much for that?

Not simple to have a real estimation, it depends... anyway more than the value (monetary value) of the camera. Because I like to photograph with the lens open between 2.8 and 4 it is not such a big issue.

I think it s a common problem of the cameras with a retractile lens, my wife's D-109 has the same things.
