Leitz Minolta CL Lens question...

Hi,

I am looking at getting a Leitz Minolta CL. Can anyone let me know if the original M-Rokkor 40mm takes a screw mount filter or an series 5.5 filter.

I believe both original and CLE version M-Rokkor 40mm take 40.5mm threaded filters. Summicron-C took Series 5.5.

The M-Rokkor 40 mm f/ 2 use the 40,5 mm filter, as all other M-Rokkor lenses, while the Summicron C 40 mm f/ 2 and the Elmar C 90 mm f/ 4 both use the 5.5 Series filters (AKA 39x0.75 mm filters).
