So, I got a Leica iiia [wicked camera, the russian copies do not compare, but thats beside the point], and i am having some troubles with my current lens [Jupiter-8]
It is not correctly focusing wide open and close up, so its in need of a shim. It could also use some relube in the focusing ring. I'm considering getting it CLA'd at Fedka.
My 2nd option is to buy a I-22 collapsable from Fedka, for the same price.
What do you think is better? The extra stop or so from the F2 is nice.

Have the J-8 lubed and shimmed for the Leica.
If you can handle a jewelers screwdriver, it is not a hard job to do yourself.

Most Russian lenses need 0.1mm~0.2mm of extra shim for a Leica. Two shims from household aluminum foil usually works.
