I haven't been on the forum for many, many moons. I decide to pop in tonight and what do I see? The twin brother to my M3!
Mark -- and here I thought I was being unique! A few more were posted back when I had the camera recovered, including a couple showing my matching 90mm Elmar --

Watch that step!
My newly purchased Black Paint M3 with my 50mm Lux V2.
Wow! what a beautiful combo
Most classic shooting pair up ever, that's for sure, is the Lux Ver 2 also a Black Paint lens, or one of those Half Black Chrome/Half Black Painted ones?

You are right, it a transition model with scalloped focusing ring!!! My understanding is that it is rarer than full black paint one.

Late christmas present: Voigtländer Super-Wide Heliar 15mm f/4.5 Aspherical II VM (the new, rangefinder-coupled version with M-mount), incl. Voigtländer 21mm brightline viewfinder.
What a great lens, and what an enjoyable combination with the 21mm finder on the M8! Never had a lens this wide, the 20mm field-of-view is totally new to me and I'm not quite sure yet how to use it. I hope to be able to take some first pictures tomorrow! (It was raining this afternoon, so I only took some crappy living room snaps ...)

Thanks Tom! I haven't used any other camera since I got the M4! Only my DSLR to take shots like that one. I couldn't be happier with this camera.
Cheers.
