I can't say I ever have - I'm a cafetiere user myself! Btw I second punkromance's comment, beautiful camera+photo.

Have a good Christmas everyone! If Santa's feeling generous, I will have a leica of my own to post on here very soon! 😀 (although somehow I doubt that...)

Test shot one 1 sec. by Istvan Penzes, on Flickr

One of the first test rolls with the Leicaflex SL2 from 1975. The usual living room table top set up, without any corrections.
Exposure time 1 sec. I was checking the build in light meter against the Sekonic L-308S. The meter is fine. 1/2 and 1 sec. where a bit sticky, but now everything seems to be perfect working order.

Yes, no doubt I'm inspired by Bruce Gilden's work. In truth, I never knew he existed until I joined the RangeFinder forum.
The man is fearless in his shooting style, and what is there not to admire?

Actually, my M6's dot is black - even in color.

Now I found, that my M7's vertical RF alignment is ever so slightly off (it looks slightly unsharp, as if the front RF window is smeary) - and this, just, when I wanted to pack it for a short trip - love the faces, when the flight attendant ask me, to switch my camera off before take off. I usually then pack my M8.2 away and slip the M7 out, to continue to annoy the flight attendant - bah!

Have to set the RF, when I am back. :-(
 
Cool to see that I'm not the only one keen on Leica's modern standard strap. Me thinks it's one of the few things Leica's mechanical engineers got right! Strip off the rubber "padding" and you've got one smooth, cool, simple strap. Less is more (and usually better, too).

David, the standard Leica M-strap is the best, there is for compact to medium sized cameras.
The only cameras, I don't use them on is the D3 - I prefer my worn black Nikon strap for it.

I have a drawer full of those Leica straps and have made also some wrist straps from them, which I use occasionally.
The best thing about these straps are the ingenious connectors, which let me change a strap within seconds and no effort.

I have found one second hand Leica strap, that has a different style quick connector (open prong), but still the same narrow strap with a widened middle part.
Too bad, this strap misses one metal prong.
 
Haha - Mark, your M3's image has burned into my mind, so that it was the first, that came to mind was "Marks M3?" when I saw JP's post ;-)
