M7 0.85 is waiting for being sent for repair, but I have a few crosses made already for "upgrades" (MP lever, preview lever, Vulcanite and the inquiry of a blackened hot shoe).
Once, you used the MP style lever, you can't use the plastic tippy one anymore :-(

Hi Alf,
Interesting strap. Who makes it?
Thanks,
Robert
Sorry its 30 years old, and was made in a small series. But its great just wrap it a round the wrist and the camera hang safely.

Same applies here
With old cameras, tell'em it's an investment
and especially with Leicas this ain't far from truth.
I'm going forth and back, whether I should get a Leica again,
but for now I'm going to shoot what I got, even though I got nothing with a red dot.
Regards
Oliver

By the way I love the M5 handling, I really cant understand why the camera is so neglected.

This alternative to 'brassing' looks awesome.

Amedeo's custom modification: Nikon 55mm f1.2 for Leica MIt's pretty sweet, I only need to buy a new IR filter, this thing is heavy though, the heaviest in my arsenal right now. Sorry for crappy iPhone pics

Hans, congratulations on the purchase.
I too have followed the advert curiously.
(One of my rangefinder gear dreams is, to have my Noct-Nikkor RF converted to Leica M mount)
Please share images of and from the lens in the "mad scientist forum".
I am very sure, this interests many.
