Haha - Jon, I see armies of Leicaphiles flogging to the shops, to replace their unholy, not worthy old caps ;-)
Apart from the script, is there anything inside improved (some of my older caps look a bit worn inside, as the bayonet wears out over time)?

Get the metal ones from heavystar on eBay. They are excellent and don't wear out.

I got the strap from Photo Village but can't recall its name -- it is locally made in NYC. I like it, it's light and well built but now I'm thinking it may not be strong enough (the BP Summicron is pretty heavy...)That looks like an A&A strap similar to mine. How do you find it? I replaced it with one of those canvass Voigtaender ones because the leather seems more likely to slip off my wrist.

Peter, I don't like those.
The nice thing about the original Leica ones is, that they are made from soft plastic, which doesn't scratch up things.

My M3:
When it arrived to me, last week, I knew it needed to be sent for a CLA (I got a really good deal for it so it didn't bother me). The film advance was jerky and loud, the shutter speeds were off, the VF was a little bit dim and had a few dirt specs that were visible on the framelines and RF patch.
I sent the camera to Youxin and less than a week later, today, I had it back in my hands. The film advance is now very smooth and quiet, the shutter speeds are accurate and the VF is really bright and beautiful (there seems to be a couple specs of dust that are in the VF that were not there when I sent the camera, but they can't be seen when looking through the VF so I don't care). Youxin is the man! I can't wait to go out and shoot.

Wow, such a quick deal. I saw you were looking for the Konica 21-35 few days ago right? Anyhow, please share with us some output from him.

Kiemchacsu and Jarno - this is a wonderful lens indeed!
It is my very first 21mm lens and I am surprised by myself, that I like it so much.
I shared some shots form the first night in this thread in the Konica RF forum:
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89757
It is not an ideal night lens on the slow Leica digital bodies (these are all from a M9, shot wide open at slow shutter speeds), but after the first night, I guess, I will press it into service more (I am mostly shooting @ night).
Oh, I forgot: congrats Jhthomasii! A nice camera! My first Leica (and the one, that made a honking huuuuge DSLR zoom shooter an almost full rangefinder convert) was a M6 as well - hang on to it!

No, just "the change" ;-)So that is ~ US$3500 in Yuan ?
People say, better to not sell your Leica lenses, but I am really happy, I did.
That ASPH really sat in storage since I got the old 50/1 - totally uninspiring for me.
The 21mm looks to be a whole lot more exciting lens to me.

Update on the above post--
The Nocti 1.2 went for $17,500.00.
Siiiiigh!
Maybe next time...
At least we now know how much a mythical lens costs...

^ Is the battery cover after-market? I've never seen an M6 with that slotted battery cover before?

I was just thinking that. I wonder how useful it is...I don't change my M6's battery that often. Looks nice, though!

It might be, I bought it off my boss. He used to use m6's to shoot stills on movie sets apparently. I don't really mind what they look like, so far so good but, I'm going to abuse it.
