Let's see your Leica M

I never understood why people black out their serial numbers. Why?
people may have different ideas of privacy
Because it might be a stolen camera :D
pretty sure it's not
Very, very pretty haempe! I have never seen MP sandpaper so worn!
hi dirk, it starts in the last year to come loose and disintegrate
on the backside gaffa is needed to hold it in place
It is the 50mm Color Skopar. When I see a relatively new camera like this one, but extremely used, I always want to know by who the camera was used and what kind of pictures were taken with it. There must be thousands of films exposed by this one.
erik, not that much
maybe a thousand in the last 5 years
the camera is built in 2005
I'm mainly shoot concerts (Rock/Metal/Hardcore) and usually from the pit not out of the trench, can be a tough environment for such a camera
Right on. M stands for METAL
hehe...

Cheers!

Thanks, David & Dirk! What bothers me about the CV 21/4 is the fact that with the LTM/M adapter, the focus and f-stop are at a 60 degree angle to the right.

I don't know if this applies to all Voigtlander lenses, but when I had the old 50mm Nokton LTM I too was annoyed by the fact that it did not align properly. However I learned that if you take off the mount you can realign it with the additional holes and that caused it to mount perfectly in line with the camera when the adapter was used.

Finished the project...

Lever rewind, no-self timer M2, 1964, #1093xxx, with M3 viewfinder from a donor camera that was otherwise not salvageable. The original M2 viewfinder prism had oxidation and was toast...

New curtains, full CLA. Also has M4-style loading.

I'm calling it an M234. ;)
