Let's see your Leica M

Shab, congrats! Looking really sharp. "Speed loading" is a little different from M4 and other Ms, but You'll have no problem.

If you prefer leaving the tongue of film out when you rewind the roll like myself (I'm lazy I put the film on reel from there in dark bag), then be careful rapid rewinding. M5 rewinds quite a bit quicker than other M4 style Ms thanks to geared crank.

The song in my head: "You are so beautiful..." :)

And now, I need to learn how to put the film in this camera!! I'm going to read the manual... :)

Aupa Xabi!!

So You've been missing the good film, eh?

I'm glad You have returned!!!

I love all the M5 love that's happening! I wish I had kept mine. I'd happy acquire another one in the future, but I'll be more than happy with my three Ms for a long long time.

I just got another copy of the Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5, this time in chrome and it's really nice on my M3. I think I'll enjoy that combo!

I'll have some things to share once I get a delivery from Australia ;)

My "new to me" M4 sporting a 35mm summilux pre-asph with customised 35/2 hood (details here) and a v2 prototype of my customised lens tab. I'll post details about the lens tab in the 35 pre-asph thread later tonight Edit: here. It's a work in progress - I hope to be able to offer the final product in the classifieds soon...

iPhone 5

The M4 is very quickly becoming my favourite M, and is relegating my much loved M6 to back-up duties.

Awesome work on both the lens hood and the focusing tab! I used the Heavystar tab on my v4 50mm cron for years and it held up well with heavy duty double sided tape. I was one of the beta testers of Lens Taab and have been using it ever since. Just realized I don't have any photos of the final version of the product which is much thinner and streamlined, but this should give you an idea of how the two compare.

The fact I don't have a picture of the final product is irking me so I'll have to take a photo of it soon
