Let's see your Leica M

Thanks, this M4 has better look that I imagined! I thought BP M4 were not such collector item because I remember missing one for 1500€ seven years ago, that was not that far away from a regular M6 at the time. But some says it is, maybe not anymore.
It sure is a lot of BP M4 compared to the rare M3 and M2, still they seem to fetch a lot. Don't know now with the M9 and all, but this one got a nice new user!

piece of cake . i used the wet method on camera leathers website . this was the second one i have done and the old m6 covering came off very easy . the m2 i did first was a little more labor intensive to remove the old covering but not that bad .

Sweet, an excuse to take some snapshots with my GRD2 for once. (Not getting much use since I picked up the M8, a shame too)

My M8 showing off the Nokton.

Hard to tell from the snaps, but there is a Thumbs up Model 3 mounted as well. Ingenious and indispensable for the monster nokton.

I did on three occasions try to buy used M-Motors, but in each case the battery holder had play in it where it joined the base. I fear this 1.33Kg mass would snap a motor in half :(

The first few films showed I could not cope with simultaneously composing; estimating the parallax shifts; keeping the camera level and square - thus necessitating the monster you see today.

At least, if it comes down to it, it should swing well and make a good dent in any nighttime attacker's ribs.
