Sold my M6 Millenium for this black paint M7, so I have AE and updated MP finder but I am missing the MP style rewind already 🙁
This BP M3 and Noct may be the nicest combination that I have ever seen. Is this an original black paint?
may be the most rugged leica m - m4-p.
and the characteristic nikkor 50mm f1.4 in screw mount.
looks better or looks shabby 😛I completely agree ! 🙂 However, yours looks way better than my M4-P no 2 ... 😎
looks better or looks shabby 😛
anyway, noticed you are living in Japan, it is good to know you are safe now!
... mine looks more ... "battered" !! 😀
I am down in the West of Tokyo, safe for now !
Simply gorgeous. Makes me want that lens 🙂 BTW is that the original leatherette?Got my M2 back from a Youxin Ye CLA/Repair.
The M2 had a hole where the strap lug use to be. YY switch the body out with a M3 body so now I have Buddha ears & the lens release guard.
I wish. That M3 body was a old spare he had. Aki-Asahi covering.Simply gorgeous. Makes me want that lens 🙂 BTW is that the original leatherette?
Thanks!one hell of a sexy M2. super clean!
Thanks. Youxin does a good job and for a great price and very fast.Gorgeous M2! Youxin rocks!
Curious, why a TTL instead of classic?😕Just went through this thread. Love every single camera.
Can't wait to get myself a M6 TTL. Currently have a IIIF which is just lovely. But can't wait to upgrade. As soon as I do I will post!
Curious, why a TTL instead of classic?😕
I guess it truly doesn't matter. But the added option of ttl would be a nice feature.. I haven't really thought about it I guess. I'm stil new to the leica world.
I'm currently a student with no money and had a possible option to get a M6TTL with a payment plan so that might have been the reason..
I agree shot for the M6 classic😛Please be aware, that the TTL in the M6TTL only and exclusively means, that this adds TTL flash capability to the M6TTL.
The M6TTL anyway is very limited in all things flash (basically the same to your III).
The M6TTL also adds a slightly bigger body size and a shutter speed dial, that turns "the wrong way".
It is reported, that it's meter also eats batteries faster than the M6 (and it's successor, the new MP).
I would save the money and go straight to the M6 classic.
If you get very lucky, you might source one, which has been upgraded to the MP finder specs, which should then price around a very good M6TTL, but have a superior finder.
This would be a much, much more helpful feature, than being able, to shoot with the handful of Leica TTL capable flash units.
Any flash, fitting the M6 hot shoe contacts will work in A and M mode anyway ;-)
