Congrats and welcome bibendum!
No need to call a M6 modest - many people had their first Leica be an M6 (same with me).
Just be careful with that lens hunt … RFs are very, very addictive for some ;-)

A modern (v4/v5) 50mm Summicron would be a quite comely pairing with your black M6. Should cost about the same price your M6 did.

The M9-P loves the new Nokton 50/1.5:

No, no film M
I have a nice Contax AX with a pile of C/Y MM type lenses for my very rare film needs ...

Would be hard for me to walk out the Door, trying to Devide what lens to take :bang:..![]()
I actually like it ... It doesn't let me get lazy with only one focal length and keeps my perspective running free
Blasphemy but id actually love a 16-90/f1 zoom lens

blasphemy indeed...with ALL that

Thank you! Hopefully the first few rolls will have a little "glow" once I develop them.

It's like a fellow forum members signature reads ->
"After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true." Spock
Dead on, at least in my case
But really, I travel a lot and id love to have a fast zoom ... atleast in the 16-50 range
The one lens to rule them all
Soooo, did I read somewhere that you're buying the 21SA3.4 again?

IMHO, the ugliest, most hideous hatchet job ever done to a Leica Camera.A friend stopped over today with among other goodies his M4-2 ...... couldn't help but take a few snaps to share. What do you think?

Thanks kshapero, menos and furbs. I appreciate the input. The Summicron looks like a good starting point.
