by BN I referred to the 'big number' logo engraved M6. early european Leica gmbh copies had it only.

You can see it - regular M6 has "Leica M6" written in front. This one has only "M6" written.
I have so called big M6 as well.
The story goes that in the late 80s Leica wanted to find out where from are M6s appearing in the shops that were not regular distributors. That is why they made aprox 3000 big M6 - to follow the around the world..

I have definitely become addicted to the M2. Almost through my second to last roll of Tri-X and can't wait to try out some of the other films I've recently picked up!

Ain't that the truth! Since putting the grip on mine, my hand hurts less after a day of shooting.
