I still see these Nikon straps for sale in the big local stores such as Yodobashi Camera and BIC Camera, and they're still listed on Nikon's Japanese website (link), so I think they're actually still in production (though possibly not offered by Nikon outside Japan)![]()
I really dig that rig.Looks well used and the Ni-plated brass not that ugly where the black-chrome has come off. Nice.
Thanks so much! It is very well-used. With the lens collapsed it becomes extremely easy to carry. Even the vulcanite has stood the test for the most part except on the back plate. I took it out in -40 weather and it got chipped slightly.
Got a little upgrade for the M3, not sure who made it though.
I know from my days working at a camera shop. Just because it's in the catalog, doesn't mean you can actually still get one.
They still show up in the Nikon USA catalog too. Hopefully they're available.
An Amazon search shows Adorama has a few. No one else, which seems kind of strange for a readily available item.
VERY cool camera. Would like to hear the back story on that one, I bet it has had an interesting life.Leica MP, Nokton-M 50mm f/1.5, Tmax400.
