I know from my days working at a camera shop. Just because it's in the catalog, doesn't mean you can actually still get one.
They still show up in the Nikon USA catalog too. Hopefully they're available.
An Amazon search shows Adorama has a few. No one else, which seems kind of strange for a readily available item.

My first Leica, and my first 'proper' rangefinder (I had a Konica C35 for a bit...). A '65 build M2 (lever rewind and self-timer) with a lovely little CV 35/f2.5 Colour Skopar.

Thanks so much! It is very well-used. With the lens collapsed it becomes extremely easy to carry. Even the vulcanite has stood the test for the most part except on the back plate. I took it out in -40 weather and it got chipped slightly.

That was what I was wondering about, the original vulcanite and Canadian weather!

I bought one of these custom rewind cranks around 1973. I am thinking, but not totally sure, that Bob Schwalberg had them made and sold them. He also made the best strap ever, the first strap with a quick release, the Strapateer. I have one left of the three or so that I originally had, bought around 1967, and have made copies for all of my cameras.

This is my favorite strap and In probably have six or seven of them (BK Photo in Troy Ohio used to keep them in stock) B&H also stocks them

I worked at Fairborn Camera for a long time. Used to deal with the guys at BK all the time. Both stores are gone now.

I ran across Roy from BK a few years ago at a camera show in Cincinnati. He was showing off one his M's.
 
Ah yes, the limited edition M3000 that uses 8x10 rollfilm. Pity it's missing the accessory hydraulic jack.

The guy I work for has one of the giant display M's. Quite impressive sitting on the shelf, right next to actual M cameras, I can assure you!
Now, he just needs to get one of the matching, giant screwmount display bodies…
