light meter question

I have not found one that works, so it's been a moot point for me.

That should fit a screw-mount Leica, as the meters for the Leica have a different shape and a knob that physically connects to the camera's shutter-speed dial.

For a working, reliable on-camera meter, most folks seem to prefer the C-V meter.

what is this C-V meter? I can't google it:bang:

I used to have that Leica light meter. It is indeed made for the Barnack cameras, but it's real old and the accuracy may or may not be good. They look a little bulbous on the little screwmount cameras, but they are the correct meter for it. The VC meter would be a lot smaller and a lot more accurate. My feeling about hotshoe meters though is that you may as well just use a hand held meter.

Go to CameraQuest's web site for the VC meter.
