Has anyone had any experience working with liquid emulsions here? I'm thinking about experimenting with printing on canvas and glass. Any examples or advice from those that have tried would be wunderbar.

"Liquid Light" - I used to use this quite a bit back in grad school. During that time they changed the formula and I grew very frustrated with it, as I had worked out a very specific workflow to "age" it. "Ageing" it gave me very consistent results. I called the company at the time, and they did tell me that the formula was changed, but only after some explaining on my part.
It can be fun to use, but the consistency of result wasn't there for me anymore.

In the early 60's, I worked for a photolithographer in Paris. We make our own collodion emulsions to coat glass plates over 1 meter wide. These were used to make masters for Michelin and military maps. Later, in Vancouver Canada, I made and used dichromated emulsions. L.P. Clerc authored good reference books for these ancient techniques. They are written in French but some of his writings were translated and published in London UK. Note that the recipes were not necessarily ancient when he wrote them in the 20's.

I do wetplate. It was originally designed to be on glass, then metal. Dont' think canvas would work. Check the Collodion.com forum.
