My M3 got here.
It seems like an awesome camera, can't wait to be able to shoot with it...
Whenever Adorama gets their act together and ships out my lens, the year after that I'll finally get it and be able to shoot
(I ordered it on Saturday, for some reason it didn't ship yet, damn it)
Film loading isn't as fast as with the 1N, but it's not too bad. Love the mechanical ticking on long exposures.

My 'new' Kiev 2a arrived today from Solinar... Every bit as smooth as my '63 Kiev 4 & a tad better looking!

My Konica Auto S2 arrived today. It comes with the original box and warranty card but w/o the manuals. The camera looks like new, shutter speed working perfectly, viewfinder's clear and bright, meter working (comes with the PX625 batt) but somehow the apeture seems to be locked on 16.

What apppears to be a completely unused black Contax T arrived today. It came in original box with unsigned, undated warranty cards, soft case is unused, strap is unused. the whole thing looks like it crawled out of a time capsule. Sometimes good things can happen on the bay.
This one really makes up for my "mint" T from the bay that had fungus in the finder, a small lens separation, a broken flash and had obviously spent a lot of time in someone's pocket. Still can't complain, the T is just so much fun to use and gets great results.

Leica 28/2.8 asph is with me! this lens is so tiny!!! it is unreal! well, build wise I still prefer zeiss lenses, zeiss feels just more solid, as for focusing I prefer zeiss focusing ring! but this lens is sooooo smal! even with hood!

I'm officially less of a tourist at this website! Just arrived today: CV Bessa R3M, with the CV Nokton 40mm/1.4f single coated lens.
For the last two years I've been exclusively shooting medium format -- with a Bronica SQ-Ai, mostly. Doing so while on journalism assignments and while wandering about town had led me realize that I could really go for a camera that's not huge and doesn't take so much strain to operate (I mean, it's not so bad, and I won't complain about the results, but it's definitely slowed me down at times and forced me to ponder the alternatives). So, to put it simply, I became fixated on rangefinders. I browsed and researched all over the place--especially this site--for two months while saving up money. And now I can finally say that the camera has arrived! I, finally, have arrived.
Starting tomorrow this thing's going around my neck and under my jacket. And that's where it'll stay. Except when I take photos. When I do that I'll be removing it from within my jacket, and, you know, like holding it up or whatever. (and no, I won't abandon medium format -- I'll just be shooting twice as much.)
I'll be posting up my results in my RFF gallery.
Thanks for help, forum members.
And about the camera, it feels very solid, very well-built. I've very happy with how it's handled while I've been wandering around my house pretending to take photos.

Several weeks ago, I claimed to be finished with ebay. Well, I was almost finished...I needed a self-timer, so I bought this little Kopil in it's original case for $5.00. That's double what E.J. Korvette charged when it was new. Is Korvette's still around?
