LS5000 Scanner and Yosemite

Hi not sure if this was asked already, I have a Nikon LS5000 film scanner that I use before with my Mac earlier version I think Mountain Lion or Lion that worked with the Nikon scanner software. I'm using the newer MBP with Yosemite, will it work with Nikon or Vuescan? Thanks.

No. Nikon no longer updates Nikon Scan. I am so used to Nikon Scan I keep a MacBook with Snow Leopard so I can still run it.

I've just got an LS5000 and am still figuring out how to set it up. I've done a real quick test and both Vuescan (a program I've got a lot of experience with) and Nikon Scan both are confusing I find. Tonight I'll have to look a little into it.

I have one and run it with Nikon Scan in a virtual machine. I also use it with Silverfast directly from OS X.
