Google archives everything-- I found an ad for a microscope I sold in 1993. Anyways, no problem here on an MP, M6, M8, Hexar RF examined at pixel level or else slides and loupe.
I've used my M-Hexanon 28/2.8 on an M6TTL, M7 and MP and had no problems on any of them. I had two Leica 28s when I bought the Hex and I sold both of them. If Leica were to make a 28/1.4 and I were to buy it I'd still keep the Hexanon. 🙂
Internets say they share the same optical formula. Looking at the lens diagrams I have to agree. I'd choose whatever I could be able to find first for a good price.
