M9 and Perar 35/3.5 Super triplet samples

I've only used mine a few times since receiving it last week. This is mid day on a bright Arizona day. No pp. very sharp, might need more contrast and saturation, I need to use it more. Have it loaded in a MP with triX now.. Incredible small package.

Ok, so the corners are soft in that above photo...so it is normal I guess (and this lens is an old formula and hand made so I wasn't expecting more). How about the distance scale? Does the one on your perar seems accurate?

I find my lens not so good in the corners. I bet this is a wonderful lens for the M8.

Center is very sharp though.

Yes, Vikko... I agree. I never noticed the corners on the M8...cropped out I guess. On the M9 it is very apparent. It's a niche lens...and not an overall user. Still cool though.

Waiting for it, was mailed today from a very reliable Leica-user here in Norway 🙂

Will be really interesting to get it tested thoroughly on both my M9 and M8 - I do really like the look of most of the pictures I´ve seen so far made with it!
