I went with black, because I got a good deal on one and also because I always liked the look of black Leica's, especially the black paint ones. I know what it'll look like when it's worn down and I happen to like that look
Can't wait actually to have it all worn, although I'd never take sandpaper to my camera!

I have had my grey M9 for almost 18 months and brass shows on every edges. I don't care, I use it daily, we get riddles too![]()
I'd be very curious to see an image of this steel grey M9 - or any images of black or grey M9's with brassing. Anyone feel like posting? Not a lot of opportunities to see well worn M9's in LA (bc they're rare and of course we all drive everywhere here).
