Then let's set the rules differently for those down under... instead of shooting without a meter how about getting a nice portrait of a cassowary? 😀

The cassowary is one of the most dangerous animals on this continent I'm told ... I've never seen one!

Actually I believe most DSLR's have built in meters that work even in manual. For what your proposing you would have to exclude any camera with a built in meter unless it can be rendered useless by removing the battery. So older film slrs could possibly be used but aperture priority cameras would be out as would most of the fixed lens cameras.I'm actually already thinking ahead here people ... at some stage in the future I'd fancy a 'sunny sixteen no meter competition!'
Even the guys/gals with DSLR's could join in ... they do have manual settings don't they? ... somewhere in between 'medium' and 'well done!' :angel:
