Can you use a modern flash with the canonet ql 17? By modern, I don't mean a TTL flash. I mean the type of flash common in the 80's, with an automatic eye. You set the ASA on the flash, and it told you what f-stop to use. When you fired the camera, the flash would quit when the eye received enough light.
Since the canonet will sync up to 1/500, it would be really nice to be able to use this camera with a flash, both indoors and outdoors as a fill flash.
And, if you can't use this flash on the canonet, can you use one of the Minolta hi-matic?
