this one really catches my attention, simply beautiful

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Well worn M6ttl I've carried almost daily since 2002, and M3/21 SA combo. Both beautiful to me.

One of my M4P's - painted in crackle black paint to cover up years of use - and, yes abuse. The Rapidwinder is the "Urwinder" - the first one made. Machined out a solid block of brass - took about 30 hours of careful machining to get it right. One wrong turn of the controls of the mill and it was back to square one. Still have the winder (and camera) - and as I used aircraft ball bearings in the drive and belt drive - still one of the smoothest winders ever. This is almost 25 years ago!!!!!!!

Terrible picture of it, I've been meaning to take some better ones. I have several shots of it in this flickr set, plus some shots from the camera. Very hard to load, and hard to wind once loaded, as I only have one spool, and it originally took a paper-backed roll similar to (but importantly not identical to) 828.

I need to take some glamour shots of it: it is a little jewel.

My first rangefinder camera. Voigtländer Vitomatic IIIb. And that is the story: It was my first rangefinder camera and that's why I still prefer it over my M3 many times.

The shutter is like 20times quieter than every Leica M. The 1:1 finder....oh my! :)
With FAN-TAS-TIC Ultron lens.
