Need some help please. I lost a part.

I need some help please. I lost the screw for my Angelo Pelle case for my M240. this is the screw that holds the case to the camera, and has an inner thread for a tripod, with a slot to tighten with something like a coin. I fired off an email to Angelo, asking for a replacement, but need to look to an alternative source, as I'm going on a vacation trip very shortly, and not sure one would arrive from Italy before I leave, so if someone has a source, please advise. I looked on BH photo but can't find anything similar.

Would any of these work in a pinch? Looks like a straightforward 1/4-20 screw would be a temporary fix.

I looked at the cases on the Pelle website -- can't the case simply be held onto the camera by the fact that you have those leather loops that snap over the camera's strap lugs and the strap? My half case (Leica brand) stays on my 246 that way, and it doesn't require a screw to secure it.

The first link shows one that might work, with a plastic knob around it, if the thread is long enough. the second link I don't think will fit the case. The problem is the unit has to do two things at once, mount the case to the camera, and provide a spot to screw into the tripod. You're right about the case staying on ok, but I lose the tripod mount without the screw, and I plan to be doing some tripod shooting. If I go bare camera, I can obviously mount a tripod, but I like the security and extra grip the case provides. Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate it.
