Need to clean the viewfinder

on my Canonet QL17 GIII as it's a bit hazy. Can anyone who has done this give me some simple steps to do this myself and what, if any, cleaning agent I should use? Thanks in advance.

hard to believe no one's done this?? Oh well, I have at least a good camera shop to take it to. Was just trying to save a few $$.

i read somewhere not to clean the diagonal prism/ mirror with anything, only clean the front and back glass.

Use windex and Q-tips over ........and over. That's it.
