Need to pare down

Well, I suppose that I had to, because it's an absolute dead heat which immigration service is more poisonous, UK or USA, so for either of us to live in the other's country, we had to get married. On the other hand, the only net effect was that we got married a bit sooner than might otherwise have been the case. As it is, we both reckon it's one of the best things we ever did: next anniversary is our 30th.

What have you against it? After 10 years, both of you must be reasonably confident you're compatible.

And I'd keep all three (wife included). Noting that she just noticed the stash recently, you can probably get away with adding a couple more without her noticing for say a coupla years.

A commited relationship is a commited relationship and since both of us come from failed relationships and since both of us are divorced, marrage has no added valve or meaning.

In fact here in the U.S. there is a financial disincentive to getting married, that translates into higher taxes because of combined income. Here in the U.S. its called "the marrage penalty." This applies to us since we both are employed full time.

The rich have a saying: No one ever got rich by paying taxes.

BTW living in sin is fun. LOL. When I was married it was not.

A couple of months ago I counted my girlfriends shoes.....well it started with me trying to find my one pair among her 20+ pairs in the hall.
At pair number 42 I gave up.
However she never once in 11 years complained about my cameras 🙂

Complaining about a few cameras when you have more than 42 pair of shoes, is like asking for a divorce.
 
This reminds me of the Dustin Hoffman character's repeated line in "Wag the Dog": "This is NOTHING, NOTHING!"

my camera keeps saying that I have too many wives, so what?
that's not a reason to get rid of one of them. I love them all...

Remember the first rule of wife rant, when she rants it does not always mean that you are to immediatey fix something. She just wants you to listen. Or so I've been told.
