I have been living in sin with my girlfriend for over a decade (not married), but I bought her a massive diamond ring anyway.
Now I have a permanant "get outa jail" card that never expires.
When the M9 first came out she offered to buy me one if I wanted one.
Moral of the story is don't get married unless you have to.
Second moral: Anytime I spent a lot of money to make a woman happy I never regretted it.
BTW my girlfriend calls my spread of cameras "a camera farm" because it keeps growing.

Looking at an M2 at the moment. The sickness continues.😀😀😱Akiva, are you serious?
Don't expect sympathy from the group... you need *more* cameras 😀
I knew this was going to be a bomb. I asked for it.😀:bang:😀😛😱
What have you against it? After 10 years, both of you must be reasonably confident you're compatible.
Cheers,
R.
You wouldn't go to a bar to ask the patrons how to quit drinking, would you? 😀
Tell her you tried to sell your cameras, but nobody is interested in buying old pieces of metal these days.
Her shoes on the other hand...
Complaining about a few cameras when you have more than 42 pair of shoes, is like asking for a divorce.A couple of months ago I counted my girlfriends shoes.....well it started with me trying to find my one pair among her 20+ pairs in the hall.
At pair number 42 I gave up.
However she never once in 11 years complained about my cameras 🙂
CLA first?Sell your wife. 😀
Don't get too excited. To my wife one camera is enough.

I am by nature a minimalist, so for me it is huge. Lived with a Nikkormat from 1974 till 1989 before even buying second camera (Rollei 35S)This reminds me of the Dustin Hoffman character's repeated line in "Wag the Dog": "This is NOTHING, NOTHING!"

Last night my wife saw my stash for the first time in a couple of years. Her comment was: "You are sick" So it is time to pare down. Here is a tough one: Nikon FM3A or Zeiss Ikon? Which should I sell? Love them both, but in some ways they are very similar. What would you do?:bang:
