It never rains in California don't you know! Taken 12/7/04.
Excuse the N camera, my R2a has not come in yet.

Too big, Too big!

Too big, Too big!

I guess I better figure out what size to size my posts.

You obviously can't be in California. Your speedometer reads only 45mph. Nobody drives less than 70mph in the rain in California. . . unless you are in LA, where everybody panics at the first hint of moisture.

45!

45!

I was trying to look through the viewfinder and drive. I even scared Californial drivers.

OK, I'm trying to resize it down. Notice this is a selfportrait.

Then it's true!!?? I thought I was just seeing things. :D

I have taken photos from a moving car while I was driving, but I never had the courage to look though the viewfinder. Not in Wash, DC area rush hour! Still, I notice there is no traffic with you. Are you sure that is Kalifornya? :D

Light traffic.

Light traffic.

I live in Lompoc, Ca. In the morning, there is a line of commuter cars heading south to Santa Barbara (actually east) and in the afternoon theyr'e all heading back the other way. During the day the road is almost empty. In Kalifornia South/Mid coastal areas, we hardly know what rain is, but I was raised in Florida. Yea, the photo is with the N camera. I'm waiting for my R2a to come in.

I thought it never rained in California, too - until our Isla Vista student apartment building got flooded (in Dec. 1994).

Well,
I'm glad someone else is enjoying the "inclement" meteorological conditions ~ ; - )
Of course we are kinda' used to it up here.

I used to love camping up near you, at Lake Cachuma (sp?) and visiting Solvang (great food), too.

If you want an exciting experience, try driving while looking through the viewfinder of an slr with a wide angle lens.

Frank,

I had a 28mm lens on and was all over the road, thats why I was only doing 45mph.

'Try it with a fish-eye!"

Didn't Hugh Grant get arrested for that? ~ ; - )
