I am returning mine-- while not as horrible as I initially thought, the lens has a critical flaw if you are using a RF-- the shape of the focusing cam does not allow for accurate focusing at all distances-- if you calibrate it close up, it is way off at a distance-- if you calibrate for mid to long distance, it is way off up close.
Mine does not do that at all, it's perfect at all distances.
It also focused perfectly out of the box with no need for any calibration changes.
If what I read here is true, the lens isn't for film.
The Nokton 1.1 it is.
It is fantastic on film, better than digital I think. I prefer it on film using my M7 (thread posted elsewhere on this forum) than on my M240.
