Thanks for the enthusiastic response! In just one day the group is already home to a great variety of photographic styles. Tonnes of RF images, but some SLR stuff too.

That's the disadvantage of flickr - you get all sorts, and there is no option to moderate the comments to your photos.

It's one of the reasons why I mostly use flickr to host my pics for showing on forums like rff... I've seen quite a few decent photographs where people drifting through have left useless &/or derogatory comments. I guess it happens everywhere, but it makes me keep my distance from participating in many groups.
